Young leaders working to promote inclusion, dialogue, and social change now have the opportunity to apply for the UNESCO Intercultural Leadership Programme 2026–2027.

Organised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the programme aims to strengthen the leadership capacity of professionals who are advancing intercultural dialogue as a tool for peace, social cohesion, and sustainable development.

The initiative brings together emerging leaders from around the world to exchange ideas, build international networks, and collaborate on solutions to global challenges through intercultural cooperation.

About the Programme

The UNESCO Intercultural Leadership Programme is designed for experienced professionals who are actively working to promote intercultural dialogue within their communities or organisations.

Participants will engage in:

  • Knowledge exchange on intercultural dialogue and peacebuilding.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

  • Be between 25 and 45 years old as of 22 October 2026.
  • Be actively involved in promoting intercultural dialogue, inclusion, peacebuilding, or community development.
  • Demonstrate leadership experience within their organisation or community.
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English.

The application is open to candidates from UNESCO Member States, including Ghana.
