Young graduates across West Africa, including Ghana, now have the opportunity to gain valuable regional work experience through the 2027 ECOWAS Young Graduates’ Professional Immersion Programme (YGP).
Organised by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), the programme offers a one-year, fully paid professional immersion within ECOWAS institutions and agencies, giving participants the chance to contribute to regional development while building practical workplace skills.
About the Programme
The Young Graduates’ Professional Immersion Programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional experience by placing young graduates in ECOWAS institutions, specialised agencies, and offices across the region.
Successful applicants will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to regional integration initiatives, and receive structured mentoring and professional development throughout the programme.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen of an ECOWAS Member State, including Ghana.
- Be 32 years old or younger.
- Hold a degree in a relevant field from a recognised higher education institution.
- Meet the requirements for the professional profile they are applying for.
